Description:
The “Brandeis University ConcepTests for General Chemistry” website offers a large and comprehensive collection of ConcepTests for use in general chemistry classes. The ConcepTests are grouped by topic and can be accessed either from the sequence in which they are covered in a course called “Chemistry in Time: Principles of Material Evolution” or from an alphabetical list of subjects including chemical equilibrium, condensed phases, gases, kinetics, measures, molecular structure, nuclear chemistry, stoichiometry, thermodyamics, and wave theory of matter. A set of ConcepTests (often 30 or more) is associated with each topic, and can be downloaded as an Adobe Acrobat (*.pdf) file. The ConcepTests are provided for classroom use only. All other uses are copyright protected.

No information on the testing, validity, or reliability of the ConcepTest is provided on the website.
